Unmasked Idiots Cause Cancellation Of Brandywine School District Meeting
Here’s the point: They showed up at this meeting for the expressed purpose of causing the meeting to be postponed. A meeting that was scheduled to provide parents and students with all the information they would need for the reopening of schools. From the News-Journal story:
Skrobot told the room of about 75 people – with an additional 300 or so watching on Zoom – that the meeting would have to be rescheduled. The lack of face coverings by many in the crowd was the reason.
Some in the crowed booed the announcement and yelled toward Skrobot. Others cheered.
“We are free human beings with rights that you cannot take away from us,” one woman said.
A few small arguments broke out. One woman said masks were causing “brain damage” and asked a woman who identified herself as a school nurse how she felt about being involved in “child abuse.”
“Are there clinical studies showing that masks work?” one man asked the nurse.

You know what? These anti-mask assholes are infringing on everybody else’s rights. They were there last night in violation of an Executive Order. On purpose. To shut down a meeting designed to provide information to parents and students. How about locking them up? They care about nobody but themselves.
I was there, the ultimate low light was Mask holes surrounding and intimidating a parent and her Asian child. BSD could have been better prepared 2 retired cop Constables was the extent of security. Given that cancellation was the best option. I guess BSD has money for SRO’s in buildings to control and target kids but no stomach for proper security in the face of domestic terrorists.

Get the names of the people who did this. Ban their kids from public school.

Let them pull their kids out of public schools over this if they are so offended by the concept of masks.
This is not some random thing that happened. Disrupting school board meetings and school board elections is a policy goal of “Patriots for Delaware”.
I am so frustrated with the state of this country. I just saw a poll that says 69 percent of the country supports masks in schools. I have two 10 year-olds who cannot be vaccinated yet. They desperately want to be in school and could care less about wearing masks. They each told me they want to be vaccinated as soon as it’s possible. All of their friends feel the same way.
It is time to stop trying to understand the unmasked and unvaccinated and start calling them selfish. They are taking a stand for their “freedom,” but refuse to understand that one person’s freedom ends at the boundaries of another person’s. They believe they worked for their privilege. But you cannot have privilege without responsibility. You cannot live in a community without compromise. I am done. I am done hearing about how those of us who compromise, who accept our responsibility as part of our privilege should not shame those who expect to be privileged without any responsibility. It’s time for the 69 percent of us to start saying to them, “Have you no decency?” Until the majority of reasonable unselfish people start speaking up, I don’t think anything will change. And the selfishness that continues to be displayed hurts our kids and places them at risk of losing another school year.

I was there. At least one parent brought her daughter, under 12 years old, without a mask. BSD is going to have to go to either all virtual board meetings, or they are going to have to have cops there to deny entry to the maskless, or there will be no more board meetings until the mandate is lifted.
The antagonistic couple were real gems. The woman kept asking the nurse if she knew anything about science. She also made sure to take a big step forward so that she was 6 inches from her face. The husband was “freedom,” blah, blah, blah.
My guess is that the students of BSD and elsewhere are willing to accept masks as long as it gets them back into the classroom. They’re likely looking at these dopes and sadly shaking their heads. Where it could get ugly is when parents try to get into athletic events, plays or other activities where masks are going to be required and they flat-out refuse.
Thew same people who were screaming to “REOPEN EVERYTHING” last year are the very ones preventing schools from reopening.
I think the screaming is the point.
I have grown to hate the very word “Patriot” and despise those who use it, truly they are the dog excrement of the earth and seem proud of it. At least this time the insanity was not here in central or lower Delaware, a reminder to those in the north that they are not immune.
They want to start a civil war. I wonder how many of them want to be the first one killed — or the second, if they count Ashli Babbitt as the first.
The Caesar Rodney meeting adjourned just minutes after it started because a maskless woman stood up and started screaming about her kids’ health, liberty and freedom, or some such shit. The board has gone into recess, and the stream was stopped.
