No of these so-called “Patriots” had the guts to sign this letter calling for “audits” in all 50 states and the decertification of the 2020 election results.  They are all talk.

Dozens of state lawmakers from around the country have signed onto a letter falsely referring to the 2020 elections as “corrupted” and insisting on “forensic audits” in all 50 states.

The letter also calls for states to “scrub” their voter rolls, and to “decertify” their electors if they determine that the results of the 2020 race were certified “prematurely and inaccurately.” It then demands that the U.S. House of Representatives to hold its own vote for president if enough states cast doubt on the November results. Those latter two action items are impossible, given Joe Biden was sworn in as President nine months ago.

“This is our historic obligation to restore the election integrity of the vote as the bedrock of our constitutional republic,” the letter, which has been signed by 138 state lawmakers from 38 states, reads. “If we do not have accurate and fair elections, we do not have a country.”

The effort to gather signatures has been spearheaded in recent weeks by Arizona State Sen. Wendy Rogers (R), an outspoken and militant booster of the so-called “audit” of Maricopa County, led by the Trump-friendly firm Cyber Ninjas.

All the Republican eggs are now officially in the “Forensic Audit” basket, there are a few voices of reason, but they are usually booed at Republican functions. Notice that having failed and actually lost votes to Biden they still want another, and another. However did enjoy the names applied to the politicians, but do prefer Humpty Dumpty From Hell for Bonini.

I also think the names are funny. But am I missing something? Shouldn’t they get more credit for not signing the letter than if they had? Isn’t it better if these mooks confine their stupidity to just talk?

Depends on whether one prefers consistency to hypocrisy.

Their constituents should be duly informed.

  3. nathan arizona says:

I prefer that they be hypocrites and not sign the letter.

  4. nathan arizona says:

So did you want every republican to sign the letter? I don’t understand how that would help. Is calling out their hypocrisy more important than having some dissent in the Trump ranks?

The one GA member who actually supported these kooks isn’t on your list. Why didn’t Smyk sign on?
