Yes, The Racist Who Massacred Mostly Black Victims In Buffalo Got His ‘Info’ From The Internets:

Investigators are reviewing a screed that they suspect was posted by the gunman describing his white-supremacist motivations and ideology. The 180-page document was uploaded to Google Drive and details the author’s radicalization on Internet forums, as well as a plan to target a predominantly Black neighborhood.

The author calls himself a white supremacist, fascist and antisemite. The document is centered on a far-right conspiracy theory that baselessly posits that the White population in Western countries is being reduced — or “replaced” — by immigrants in a deliberate plot.

Coward killed everybody but himself:

Not long after the shooter entered the store, he walked outside and placed the gun under his chin as if he was going to pull the trigger, Lewis said. Surrounded by police, he instead dropped the gun, removed his bulletproof vest and knelt to the ground, Lewis said.

Alito Now Has LGTBQ Community In His Medieval Crosshairs.  He’s said so:

The other reason one can presume that Alito wants Obergefell gone: He’s said so himself. In 2020, both he and Justice Clarence Thomas called it an “alteration of the Constitution” that allows “courts and governments to brand religious adherents who believe that marriage is between one man and one woman as bigots.” Alito complained about this in a 2020 speech to the Federalist Society as well, whining that “you can’t say that marriage is the union between one man and one woman” without being accused of bigotry. When Alito won’t stop complaining about Obergefell as wrongly decided, no one should take him at his word that he and the rest of the conservative majority won’t leverage victory in Dobbs into dismantling the rest of the rights they don’t like.

US Covid Deaths ‘Failure Of Ideology’.  No, not just RWNJ internet memes, but failure to address health care for poor and minorities:

According to public health experts, the virus’s outsized impact on the US can be attributed in part to underinvestment in long-term care, in primary care and in public health departments. As a result, some people were more vulnerable to Covid and had little connection to – or trust in – the healthcare providers who urged them to socially distance, to wear masks and to get vaccinated.

It was a disconnect, they say, that was only exacerbated by misinformation – particularly by Republican leaders’ undermining of scientists’ recommendations.

“This is more than just a failure of a health system,” said Rosner. “It’s a failure of an American ideology.”

One Of Delaware’s Very Best Public Officials To Step DownDr. Karyl Rattay, head of the Division Of Public Health:

“In her 13 years as our Director of the Division of Public Health, Dr. Karyl Rattay has been driven by a singular focus: How could she and her team improve and protect the health and well-being of the Delawareans they serve,” said DHSS Secretary Molly Magarik. “Her values, her work ethic and her passion for this work have never wavered. She believes in meeting communities where they are, listening to stakeholders across the spectrum, and building public health responses that are tailored to the populations we are serving. On behalf of the employees of DHSS and the people of Delaware, I offer my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Rattay her leadership, her innovative spirit, and her commitment to our state.”

Rattay helped steer the state through the Covid pandemic and, I think, did an incredible job.  Making her only foes the anti-vaxxers.  She has been a tremendously supportive and inclusive force for public health.  I wish her great success and happiness as she moves forward.

Here’s the thing about the Great Replacement theory: I would gladly replace all the white nationalist assholes in the country with literally anybody else. So they’re right about that. Replacing those people gives life on Earth a much better chance of continuing, so I’m all for it.

I suggest that the first person we replace is Samuel Alito.
