Nominations Being Accepted: Post of the Year

Filed in Delaware by on December 22, 2008

This is where we start getting into the meat of the Delaware blogosphere.  Last years winner was “Anything on Tommywonk about Windpower.”  Certainly that must be considered again this year, as Tommy saw the Bluewater Wind deal come to fruition, but there are so many other worthy posts out there.  Let’s hear about them.

As with all of these, I am going to weed out blatantly trollish suggestions from the final nominees, so make your case and provide a link.

In all seriousness, Delaware Liberal working together as a team to help Katz beat Clatworthy in Copeland’s old seat. This is huge as Clatworthy is considered the future of the Delaware Republican Party.

  2. does that qualify for “POST”?

  3. Maria Evans’ post on the Delaware Talk Blog, that started an avalanche of KWS nightmare posts on my end about a week before the election.

It caused me to write my best stuff of the year…

I thought the 4 bloggers for windpower was a highpoint worthy of consideration. The live blogging on the veto override was also priceless.

It is so close to the event and maybe too soon to put in, but I thought Dom’s post on his daughter was one which will live on.

My Posts predicting Huckabee’s rise, Obama, the fall of the price of oil, and especially the Sarah Palin post should be nominated.

While the Sarah Palin post was written in August of 2007, most of the thousands and upon thousands of hits occurred in 2008 as it took a life of its own (the draft movement linked to it from several sites and once she was the nominee it became a google boon) to become the All-time read post on both Stoptaxing and firststatepolitics.
