    LOL @ VC! I have to admit I am a little sad that the tea parties are over. I haven’t heard so many adolescent sex jokes since I was an adolescent. It has brought out my inner Beavis & Butthead.

    I’ll have to watch Protack later. I have been enjoying the Protack-spam free threads. I’m not sure if I’m ready to dive back in.

    P.S. Did Protack say Obama is a failure?

    My take on Protack: For a guy who has terrible political instincts and has made wrong decsion after wrong decsion – you have to hand it to him, he does have a great ‘stache.

    The Tea Party is bigger than one person and I can’t judge Protack’s political abilities but he was helpful to us and showed up at every planning meeting and conference call.

    I am a former republican who left because of the so called leadership we suffered through and still do now. If Protack bucked those clowns who have wrecked the Republican Party than maybe he is not so bad.

    I did not see Protack’s opponents Judge Lee, Ting or O’Donald (?)

    As far as Lee, with all the opportunities in the state, what makes you think he’d come from SusCo to NCCo? Nice, uninformed accusation, there. Then again, maybe the state party SPONSORING it turned him off, as it did many others. Bad decision there.

    I think you guys forgot your meds and of course you don’t know what you are talking about.

    I supported the GOP becoming involved in the Tax Day Tea Party.

    I supported the GOP providing some structure to the event as most of the Tea Party Activists were not familiar with putting together such a large event. What made the initial supporters so genuine and great to work with would have limited the effectiveness of the Tea Party.

    Bottom Line, we had a great event and had a great time.
