‘Bulo’s Best Tunes of 2011

Filed in National by on December 6, 2011

Next week, 2011’s M(ost) V(aluable) to the P(rogressive) Cause list will be jointly and simultaneously unveiled here at Delaware Liberal and on the Al Mascitti Show on WDEL 1150-AM. Still time for last minute nominations.

For now, I have sifted, listened, and relistened to my faves from this year, and it’s time for my list of the 10 Best Tunes of 2011. Appearing, of course, in reverse chronological order:

  1. Joe Cass says:

just wondering if you caught the Pixies in Wilmington last month?

  2. No, and must admit I wasn’t a big fan, sorry.

Plus, hey, I’m OLD and ‘don’t get around much anymore’.

  3. Geezer says:

Sorry, I don’t discuss music on the Intertoobz. Leads to too many fights.

Don’t think I’ve heard alot of new music this year, which is sort of weird. Off of the top of my head, what I liked (just links to the You Tube vids):

The Weeknd – What You Need

TV On The Radio – Second Song

  5. Jason330 says:

No Lady Gaga?!?! Nothing by the Cast of Glee?!?! This list is highly suspect.

  6. Ron Ozer says:

    No Tom Waits? Surprised.

  7. Made my Top 10 album list on ‘XPN. Real good album, and several possible choices for the singles list. Just didn’t settle on one that I liked better than the ones I had here.

Probably would have opted for ‘Talking At the Same Time’:

Hell, in another week, it probably WILL be on my list.
