Filed in Delaware by on February 1, 2017

The special election for SD 10 is quickly approaching and money is needed. As a matter of fact, a reader asked us how to donate to Stephanie Hansen’s campaign.

Just click here DONATE TO STEPHANIE HANSEN.

The Hansen campaign should add a button to her Facebook page to facilitate donations as well.

Remember the debate is tonight on WDEL at 7 pm.

Money definitely helps, but people in that district should work to get their neighbors, friends and other Hansen supporters living in that district to the polls. Realize that a very small percentage of voters will decide this contest. This will take a lot of leg work, phone calls and election day action to get a win here. As we have already seen, the Republicans in the Senate are ready and willing to screw up important pieces of legislation and appointments. I really don’t think we want to give additional power to Senators Bonini and Lavelle.

sorry I wouldn’t vote for Ms Hanson or donate money to her. I believe she was near useless when she was Council President. She was never accused of any malfeasance in office but her husband Chris Roberts who was Middletowns county councilman ,sold his office out. The County Supervisor was indicted and she had ties to him. Why in heavens name would Middletown want this person to represent them?

That reads exactly like the argument for drumpf over Clinton. “her husband blah blah blah”

” She was never accused of any malfeasance in office. ” done.

Mediocre trolling at best. The commenter is no doubt a GOP stalwart who has never voted for a Democrat.

We cannot vote for the candidates we wish for, we can only vote for the candidates we have.

I have noted all her deficiencies, mostly to ensure nobody can claim later that they were hoodwinked. As with Hillary, she would get my vote, but I’d keep up some steady pressure from the left, particularly on the Coastal Zone. Vote, but verify.

Excellent point, Alby. Thank you for crystalizing my viewpoint of the 2016 Election.
