Wingnuts still HATE Al Gore
If you want a quick little primer on how the Republican slime machine works, just take a peek at this First Shill PoliticsĀ post on Al Gore.
pay careful attention to how First Shill Politics props up a common GOP straw man argument with one and, and knocks it down with the other.

You question the merits of the argument? The facts of the cited piece? What?
Shilly,
Just admit that you hate Gore.
Dr. Nick,
Big houses use more electricty than small houses. In GOPland that means Gore is evil. Don’t fight the logic.
I don’t hate Al Gore. In fact, after Bush beat McCain, I thought briefly about voting for Gore.
And anon, Gore’s consumption went UP since the movie was released. Same house, more energy.
Don’t fight the logic.
Meanwhile, Moonbats all over the blogosphere are mourning the fact that the Vice President was not killed by a truck bombing.
“We don’t support al Qaeda, but we support their mission.”
G Rex, to paraphrase Homer Simpson: “I oppose their me killing policy, but I support their Cheney killing policy.”
Dr Nick should get that reference.
There’s no conversation that can’t use a good Simpsons quote.
I don’t know of a single person who wants Cheney dead. I do know of a few who joke around about it. Many hate him particularly as the civilian war-monger sending others to die for his enrichment.
Of course, Nancy, that canard was put to rest long ago (Cheney’s enrichment) but you still parrot it, just like Wayne Smith’s “covering up” the Atkins stuff.
And you guys claim that conservatives keep saying stuff to “make it true”?? LOL!
We love Gore, we couldn’t make up a better carricature of an elitist “do as I say not as I do” limosine liberal.
It is fun to watch how wingnuts are so scared of Gore that they still need to stoop to made up stuff to try to smear him.
Only in wingnutland is it somehow hypocritical to pay 40% (+/-) MORE for your energy because you choose to buy from renewable resources. And, of course, lets not forget that he is paying MORE to install solar panels and other energy saving feature to his home. And he is paying EVEN MORE to buy carbon offsets to get to carbon neutral.
One key feature also being missed in the wingnut rush to condemnation is that both Gore and his wife maintain full-on offices in their home. Offices that also support staff other than them. If I started working from home, I’d be using plenty more energy too, but all that means is that I do not have the magic wand that all of these huffing and puffing wingnuts have to be carbon neutral and to be carbon neutral for free that they truely must have.
Give it a rest, guys. You’ll need to save some of that outrage for when Mr. Gore explains to you why the world is not flat.
