TommyWonk Thursday: All about the Environment

I missed my regular appointment for “Wonky Wednesday,” being busy with earning a living, but here’s a preview of coming (or should I say ongoing) attractions over at TommyWonk:

We all have eight days left to send in written comments on the PSC’s energy RFP. I’ve put in my two cents. You can do the same, and read what hundreds of your fellow citizens have had to say at the PSC’s Website on the RFP.

As the New York Times reports, a much anticipated study from MIT on the engineering and economics of carbon sequestration was released yesterday (and can be found here). Bonus points to any readers who gets through it before I do.

The News Journal has the story of how Diana McWilliams and colleagues want to fix the yard waste problem in Delaware without forcing the DSWA to accept the stuff in perpetuity. As I’ve noted before, Wayne Smith made forcing the DSWA to landfill the single largest category of recylable material his number one priority.
