Can someone tell me why…
No matter what news program, news clip or AP photo I see of John McCain it is ALWAYS of his right side?
You think I’m lying? Keep an eye out for the next week and you tell me how many times you see his left side? Liberal media bias my ASS!
God forbid we show a presidential candidate with a deformity growing on the left side of his face

I glimpsed that growth last night and was like, WTF is that?
(Plus he is crazy.)
key word “glimpse” I don’t think I have seen it for more than 2 seconds
McCain is a fair-skinned Irish guy who got broiled by the sun in a bamboo cage. He had a melanoma removed from the side of his face. They had to scoop out a hell of a lot of tissue to make sure they got it all. Then they had to reconstruct the side of his face by pulling muscle in from the rest of his face and sewing in bits of other stuff and trying to make it all look normal somehow. He’s had previous melanomas too. I don’t wish this on him, but the chances of recurrence are high.
anon,
I am aware of what it is/was but the media goes OUT of its way to NEVER show it. The guy is going to run for President at some point people are going to have to see it.
He may be able to avoid the “age” issue, but when you couple it with a visible health issue I don’t see him having a chance a getting the nod.
which goes back to my point, people scream liberal media bias, but here is a guy that a conservative, for the war and they make sure they don’t show his “bad side” on camera.
It’s like Roosevelt’s wheelchair, or JFK’s mistresses.
Hube,
We know FDR was in a wheelchair. I just thought I’d save you a few keystrokes.
Dang. Just seconds too late.
dang too slow
Yes… the press was complicit in making sure you didn’t see FDR’s wheelchair or JFK’s mistresses right underneath the podium.
I’m chalking it up to the ick factor – nobody wants to see that during their dinner hour. Of course, that hasn’t stopped them from showing the malignant growth between Kucinich’s shoulders…
