Windpower played a part in Hastings Victory in the 41st

Listen to Dana’s whole interview with Dave Burris.

Hastings support of wind played a part in his victory. Wind is very very popular in all of Sussex County but especially in that district. There are people with health problems there are fish kills and people point to the plant as being a problem.

Not only did Greg hasting say he supported Blue Power wind, but he loves to talk about solar energy and other alternative technologies for energy. He is a draftsman – been involved in house with geothermal and solar so he is every interested in the issue.

If the Republican party is not “greening” certainly Sussex County Republicans are. Dave goes on to say that while the Republicans have their nuts, loons and crackpots (like Ryan S at JTTR who deny global warming) there is nothing inconsistent about being a Republican and supporting the environment.

It was a very candid interview. Well done Dana and Dave.
