Blair to Replace Wolfie?

Filed in Uncategorized by on May 18, 2007

I have to admit, I am intrigued by the possibility that Tony Blair (or if you are the President “Hey Blair”) could be the next World Bank president.  There is a certain elegance to the whole thing.  We have always appointed the World Bank president, but now we might be out of American political capital.  It is time to spend some more of the Brit’s capital.  It might also ‘splain why Wolfie is sticking around until June.  Of perhaps we can just put John Bolton in there.

    *Shudder*

It is not crazy to think that some 30 year old Regents Univ. Grad is being considered.

Not relevant to World Bank but within the Bush administration everybody is sticking around until the Pride of Regents U. can be named in recess appointments.
