Thanks Homeland Security !
Granted this TB guy is the third biggest a-hole of the century (Bush and Cheney still holding down the one and two spots), but how the hell was he allowed to get on an airplane?
Jet-setting TB patient exposes gaps – U.S. lacks anti-disease security, experts say
WASHINGTON — What if the globe-trotting tuberculosis patient had instead been carrying the next super-flu? That he could drive into the country after his name was put on the no-fly list — and given to U.S. border guards — illustrates just one of the gaps in the system to keep the direst of diseases from crossing borders.

J – you’re on old news now. Did you see (or hear) that this guy’s new father-in-law works for the CDC in Atlanta…and specifically on TB research?
Standard “nothing-to-see-here” responses, too.
Yeah, and if HLS had grounded the dude (arrested), guess who would be in here bitching about George Bush’s “police state”?

They spoke on condition of anonymity because the matter is still under investigation. The patient was identified as Andrew Speaker,…

Ah yes, talk about your ever-lovin’ moonbattery.

Since I never actually GAVE choices, let’s see — how ’bout mandatory isolation/hospitalization?
Is it any wonder why, as hopeless as the GOP is at present, that they actually are leading in presidential (2008) polls? You people are so pathetic on defense/safety/terrorism issues as to defy description.
