Newt Gingrich Laments Republican Kakistocracy
“The government is not functioning. It’s not getting the job done,” said the former House speaker. “Republicans need to confront this reality.”
[…]“All you have to do is look at the examples I’ve given you today where the government simply fails,” said Gingrich, citing the administration’s handling of the war in Iraq, its immigration policies and response to Hurricane Katrina.
“We have to have very relentless, dramatic change in American government,” he said.
Gingrich added, “The key question is: Is somebody prepared to stand up and say that the American people deserve fundamental change in Washington?”
You have to read between the lines – but it sounds like an endorsment of Democratic leadership to me.
Hey Jason…you ok bud? I don’t know if you realize it, but you just quoted Newt Gingrich in a positive way. I am worried about you…
This suggests that Democrats haven’t been providing that “fundamental change” that Newt’s talking about:

So now you are FOR a timeline…? I can’t keep up.
I think Ryan wants us to emulate what Newt did to Clinton. Ryan won’t be happy until we impeach Bush.
All I’m saying is:
“Meet the new boss, same as the old boss”
Name 1 thing the Democrats have gotten done since January. This is a poor excuse for “change.”
