Flippster on the hot seat

It is turning into a crappy day for Delware’s 30 Flipp Romeny fans.

First the GOP diss’s the Flippster and the DE GOP fan club with their “Giuliani and Thompson Would tie if the DE primary was held today” press release – then we find out that Flipp has some big flakes working for him.

Romney aide is the focus of probe: Allegedly acted as State Police trooper

State Police are investigating one of Mitt Romney’s top campaign aides for allegedly impersonating a trooper by calling a Wilmington* company and threatening to cite the driver of a company van for erratic driving, according to two law enforcement sources familiar with the probe.

*Not Wilmington Delaware. How sweet would that have been?

    Talking Points Memo has a post on it and Hardball covered it saying that it is Wilmington Delaware that is referred to in the story.

    I first heard about this in a discussion around Obama throwing two bloggers out of a talk he was giving.
