Holy Joe on Scooter

Filed in Uncategorized by on July 3, 2007

In a statement issued today, Senator Joe Biden decried the commuted sentence for former vice presidential chief of staff I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby. “It is time for the American people to be heard,” said Biden. “I call for all Americans to flood the White House with phone calls tomorrow expressing their outrage over this blatant disregard for the rule of law.”

I plan on lying underoath and calling the president to commute my sentence. As soon as I break the law and smear someone that disagrees with me.

    Still no comment from Castle.

Which disregard for the rule of law was it that we’re supposed to be outraged over, Joe …

As a self proclaimed Constitutional Expert (you know he’s been there) Joe would be aware that a pardon or commutation is well within what a sitting President can do …

Don’t go ofthe reservation. If Happy Al Levin, the Republican candidate for Governor, says that you should be giving money to Biden – the least you could do is support his efforts to flood the White HOuse with calls today.

    Opal,

why don’t you take a look at just how Bush went about commuting good ol Scooter for me.

    Jason,

    I’m calling this morning.

  5. I called yesterday but it was shut down. I did get through to a Pelosi aide and asked her to do something today.

  6. Maria Evans says:

donviti, Bush has the Constitutional right to pardon or commute sentences, and it doesn’t matter WHY or HOW he does it, he has that absolute right. Period.

I plan on calling Biden’s office today to voice my outrage over his “blatant disregard” of the US Constitution.

    Free legal advice for Donvitti:

Should you continue on your path and do decide to lie under oath and hope to receive such a just pardon, please make all attempts to insure your lie is done to protect the Vice President of the United States, Dick Cheney, from his wrong doing.

  8. kavips says:

Otherwise, your outcome may turn out much differently……
