Six Senators support Clinton. Then it’s one each for the others, all supporting favorite sons. The rest are House delegates.
Quite noticeably, not all, but most of the endorsements are for favorite sons, or states next door to one’s own district. This would give someone from say California, New York, or Illinois, an unfair advantage say against Connecticut or Delaware. (From a purely political perspective, how can one win an election by your state’s voters when you do not even go on record as supporting your own state’s candidate for the top office?
Interestingly, if one assumes that with 53 endorsements, that Clinton will carry the day, that leaves 54 other endorsees who may feel somewhat miffed and may take a wait and see attitude before throwing their support.
This could hurt this nation.
The hydra of problems facing the next president, the minute he lifts his hand off the Bible. (they should then skip the inauguration parade this time), are so huge, that there is NO MARGIN OF ERROR.
Americans are more intelligent than pundits. They will throw their support to the one who shows leadership and can fix the problems facing our country. FDR comes to mind as the kind of leadership required after this century’s own Coolidge and Hoover eras of mismanagement and improper decisions.
Thanks for publishing this. It is quite interesting. Dave, who supports who on the other side? I know you know…..

Kavips you are a treasure for the people of Delaware. I adore your blogger input that rivals Tommywonk in its wonkiness. But please be more careful as above may be noted: your president elect is a male!!!!
The list seems to be cut off at the bottom after Carper Can you please post the full list?
