Protest TODAY. Castle’s House. Be there.
Castle’s pro-bush voting record is going to get more exposure than Janet Jackson’s left breast at a half-time show and his obfuscations on Iraq are going to be shot down like a Dick Cheney hunting partner.
Rally and March to Castle’s House:
Protest Castle’s Support of War and Vote last Thursday to keep the troops in IraqWhat: March and Rally: Protesting Castle’s Support for President Bush’s Reckless Iraq War Policy
Who: YOU & Other Delawareans United for Change and Action!
Coordinated by: Americans Against Escalation in IraqWhere: From Saint Ann’s Catholic Church to Congressman Mike Castle’s Wilmington Home
Begin: Saint Ann’s Catholic Church- Meet by 6:55pm 2013 Gilpin Ave. The Corner of Gilpin and Union, Not far from Trolley Square End: Congressman Mike Castle’s Wilmington HomeWhen: This Thursday, July 19th at 7pm
Why: Because Congressman Castle voted to continue supporting Bush’s Reckless Iraq War Policy and did NOT vote to bring our troops home; we must show him that he was wrong. Conressman Castle is accountable to the people of Delaware. Delawareans want Castle to Take A Stand and bring the troops home!
PS. I know I’m taking a risk using metaphorical language to explain how thoroughly Castle’s obfuscations are going to be dealt with – so I’ll post about my little surprise by 3:00 tomorrow.
I’ll march for beer!
For real. Is Soros buying the beer, too?
WILMINGTON, DE 7/19/07 PM FORECAST
“Thunderstorms likely. A few storms may be severe. Low 73F. Winds SW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 80%.”
Tee hee hee. Insert joke here.
Maybe you guys can draw about 5 people — that’d be a few more than that Delaware Clean Sweep “group” generated! LOL!
If you’re gonna bitch about Soros, then bitch about the meddling from Dobson, Ailes, and all the other “Concerned” groups on your side.
Otherwise, STFU!
Hube,
I’ll out a saw buck on the “over”.
I would only bitch if Soros didn’t buy the beer.
My comment is one crazy typo.
Yeah, right! That was your implied intent…geez!
But I do like beer! Good beer, and not that schwag Lite crap either!
What I meant was that if you fools went out on this worthless exercise and stalked a man at his own home, and Soros didn’t have the courtesy to buy you beer for your wasted effort, I’d be pretty ticked off.
dave,
nice to know you think it is worthless.
That’s a fairly uncivil comment from my main man Burris. I fills me delight that we have struck some kind of nerve.
It fills me with delight…
Dave –
What gives? Why so edgy? Is John Still down there pestering you to go to Seacrets with him and his new squeeze?
No edge here.
I’m just wondering why following the instructions of an interest group from DC to march to Castle’s house in the pouring rain when the twelve of you won’t affect him in any way is a good idea.
I’d feel a little differently if Jason was organizing it and not Sarah Jankowski from a 202 area code cell phone.
There’s nothing pure going on here, and it has one purpose — to try and defeat Mike Castle in 2008 — not to try and change his mind on Iraq.
So all I’m saying is you deserve beer. Is it so wrong that I’m looking out for your well being while you’re being used?
Working to defeat Mike Castle will be the next step if we fail to change his mind.
So the GOP’s spin is that there are no Delawareans who are pissed off about the war or at Castle. It is just outside agitators.
Actually, anon, all the spin is on the other side today.
“I’m just wondering why following the instructions of an interest group from DC to march to Castle’s house in the pouring rain when the twelve of you won’t affect him in any way is a good idea.”
Ha that is rich, we in DE have Pete duPont a rightwing equivalent of Soros….irony much?
Osama bin Laden’s plan was to get the U.S. to overreact and overreach itself. With the invasion of Iraq, Bush fell slap-bang into that trap. The U.S. government’s own latest National Intelligence Estimate, released this week, suggests that Al Qaeda in Iraq is now among the most significant threats to the security of the American homeland.

I still don’t see what the problem is dave. If Delawareans can’t get off their collective asses to organize a protest and someone out of state can then who cares?
the guy speaks for Delaware but his vote affects the entire country you know?
Christ and you are a politicians right?
So I guess all the politicizing that Karl Rove has done from the DOJ to the Drug Czar are a huge problem for you and you are ready to leave the party because of it?
spare me
“Ha that is rich, we in DE have Pete duPont a rightwing equivalent of Soros….irony much?”
Pete DuPont lives in Delaware. Big difference.
“If Delawareans can’t get off their collective asses to organize a protest and someone out of state can then who cares?”
Not me. Just know what’s in the Kool Aid before you drink it. This is a DC-based and Soros-funded liberal special-interest group trying to undermine Castle’s political support in Delaware with the intention of defeating him in 2008 and using people’s legitimate passions about the war to do it.
I assume most of you would be okay with that, but let’s be clear that this has very little, if anything, to do with Iraq.
I heard George Soros eats children’s livers for dinner and for breakfast he has a baby fetus milkshake. oooooohhhhhh George Soros bewarreeeee
boogity boogity
This is a DC-based and Soros-funded liberal special-interest group trying to undermine Castle’s political support in Delaware with the intention of defeating him in 2008 and using people’s legitimate passions about the war to do it.
when you come to this website isn’t LIBERAL spelled out for you?
and I guess Soros’ passion isn’t legitimate?
Sort of like Dobson’s isn’t? Falwell? Rove?
again, spare me. As if people seeking change outside of the state can’t share the same passion as a local can.
I guess only the republicans were allowed to use outside campaigners?
So castle should return all the money he recieves from donor’s outside the state?
“I assume most of you would be okay with that, but let’s be clear that this has very little, if anything, to do with Iraq.”
Did you miss that statement? Of course you did.
“and I guess Soros’ passion isn’t legitimate?”
His passion about Iraq? Must be why he owns so much Halliburton stock… His passion about electing Democrats is well-documented, however. So, again, that’s what this is about — 2008, not Iraq. Admit it and I’ll go away.
NEVAH! EVAH!
Pete lives here, sure n’uff but his rightwing activism has his will effecting folks all over our country. He WAS GO-PAC, he and Newt authored the Contract With America etc etc and most recently he runs a think tank in Houston…now oil big oil and Cheney and Roberts and Alito and this war all have the Petey Weety personal stamp.
