Interesting atmosphere

While I was outside just now finishing my yard work and figuring out that there is about a 98% probablilty that my new Mike Castle bashing buddy Joshua is a John Carney man, I noticed something interesting.

The altocumulus clouds were poking along south by south west, but the cirrus clouds were headed due north at a pretty good clip. I’m sure it happens all the time, but I had never noticed anything like that before.
