Frivolous Prosecution: UPDATED W/ LINK!!
When conservatives talk about tort reform I wish they were not talking about taking away one of the few avenues people have to protect themselves from the abuses of multinational corporations – but instead were talking about ending this kind of crap.
On Halloween night, (comic book store owner) Lee decided to participate in a trick-or-treat event where he distributed more than 2,000 free comic books at his store in Rome, Georgia. Among those he distributed was “Alternative Comics #2,” which included drawings of Pablo Picasso’s allegedly erect penis.
The boys’ mother refused to accept an apology from Lee and went to police.
It seems to me that if this Mother was really interested in protecting her children from being traumatized by a drawing of Picasso’s dick she should have accepted the apology along with a few Veggie Tales comics and tossed the Picasso in the trash.

The worst part was it had two eyes, both on the same side.
My favorite is the ongoing suit in D.C. by a judge against his dry cleaner for a ruined pair of pants for $60 million. Way to make the Bar look good, judgy.

Not saying I have a problem with firearms…
