A George Bush/Mike Castle War

Filed in National by on August 18, 2007

Two things…

1) If this country ever goes to war again, can we promise not to have another Bush/Castle type profiteer’s war? AND

2) The only thing that could make this story a more complete indictment of Bush/Castle type profiteer’s war would be if C&D Distributors of Lexington, South Carolina turned out to be a front for a Chinese company with links to Osama Bin Laden.

Did you actually read the story? I mean. It happened, but it was caught, investigated and the perpetrators arrested. It wasn’t some secret thing that 20/20 uncovered. It was an error, a bug in the system, and caught by properly caught. And if it turns out the perps are Dems…will you say a word….I thought not.

The whole Bush/Castle period of history is an error. A bug in the system. This story is just one of a million – not one in a million.

“The whole Bush/Castle period of history is an error.”

I could say the same thing about Socialism throughout history, but that doesn’t seem to stop you people from putting on Ruby slippers and hoping it will work THIS TIME.

    Wha…? Ruby Slippers..?

Anyway, these Republicans at C&D distributing and Republican system of not providing upfront accountability, as stated in the story, are the problem. Not Socialism.

Under Republicanism you have a system rpone to these types of screw ups becuase it is a “grab the money first – ask questions second” approach to governng.

From no WMD to undermanning the occuption, to letting a cival war break out, to allowing billions of dallars to be pissed away it is all part of an “accountability free” Republican mindset.

That’s why Republican’s are by nature and inclination better in the minority. They can and will provide some accountability when it comes to keeping Democrats in check, but are not interested in keeping themselves in line.

    Oops…I left out one.

Holding the Iraqi leadership accountable – Republicans like Mike Castle can’t be bothered.
