I stopped by the all-day rally for lunch today and I have taken a seat at the live blogging table to give an update on what I’m seeing.
There is still some setup going on with signs being placed strategically in preparation for tonights event. There are about a dozen volunteers working feverishly to get ready.
My favorite part is the life-sized Bush and Castle cut-outs. Each has a sash that proclaims their love for each other. People are putting post it notes on the cutouts expressing their dissatisfaction.
Every few minutes, the tunes are cranked down and one of the campaign organizers reminds the people in the area what we are here for.
The sun is hot and my time is drawing to a close. I’m out.
