Time for Castle to Break out the Next Blank Check for Iraq

The Washington Post reports that the Bush administration wants more money for the Iraq war and is planning on asking Congress for up to $50 billion next month. The thinking seems to be that lawmakers won’t be able to say no after Gen. David Petraeus and Ambassador Ryan Crocker ask for more time to build on the progress they have made.

For the record that is $50 billion more on top of another $147 billion in a pending supplemental and $460 billion in the fiscal 2008 defense budget.

CHA-CHING!!!

I wonder where Mike “the grinder” Castle will stand on this?

Hmmm….
