The Virgin O’Donnell Spaketh

Filed in National by on September 4, 2007

Priceless.

Yes. You heard that right.

If you teach children that adults are not supposed to touch them, the children will get into cars with creepy pervs who offer them sweets.

It is so clear. Why don’t you liberals get it?

You have a good point, but you missed another: What ever happened to respectful discourse?

Miss O’Donnell really embarrassed herself here.

  2. anonymous says:

She should stick with fundamentalist nuttery and stay out of politics especially in Delaware. How rude was this display? In typical smiling smug wingnut fashion she filibustered and spoke over her opponent in an attempt to dominate the debate. The points she forced down the viewers’ throats were dark ages Victorian nonsense along the lines that it is best to leave children uninformed and uneducated so they can be naturally “modest”.

When has a child’s natural “modesty” ever stopped a molester? If anything it is precisely a child’s “modesty” that child abusers exploit to keep secret their crimes. A child’s modesty is not the same as adult modesty though her take clearly shows how infantile Ms. O’Donnell’s views really are about sexuality. When it comes to inappropriate touching, children should be taught to be quite immodest and willing to tell their parents or a responsible adult about any instance of it happening to them.

Teaching children about inappropriate touching at an early age is not “sex education” but crime prevention and child protection. Ms. O’Donnell is truly wicked in her nutty religious extremist belief that child molestation is just another form of “sexual activity” as opposed to a twisted crime. This sick behavior should be prevented even if it means educating pre-school children about what inappropriate sexual touching is. This O’Donnell person is dangerous to the welfare of children in modern society.

  3. watcher in the skies says:

Taking advice on children from a childless virgin is about as insane as taking advice on marriage from a Catholic priest.

  4. Kilroy Was Here says:

So you folks critical of someone who is a virgin pretty much says it’s ok for a guy to try the merchandise even if she were your daughter.

  5. miles north says:

Christine is 38 years old, Kilroy. If you believe she is a virgin, you probably also think Mike Castle is a moderate.

  6. Al Mascitti says:

Yes, Kilroy, that’s what it says. Just because you’re a troglodyte, don’t assume everyone else is too.

  7. Disbelief says:

Did she tell anyone she was from Delaware?

    This is so embarassing.

  8. Dana Garrett says:

I SO hope that Ms. O’Donnell runs for Gov. as a Repub. Nothing would disclose the strong and large element of wingnuts and theological crackpots that comprise the DE GOP.

  9. Delaware Dem says:

    Dana,

Perhaps Christine is the secret candidate Terry Strine is referring to in today’s news that yes, the DE GOP will try to run someone against Biden.

  10. For all the supposed modesty, she is one rude bitch, interrupting her “elders” ‘n all.
    What a turd blossom.

    Being serious here !

    Does anyone here have Sleep Apnea;
Breathing-Related Sleep Disorder, also known as sleep apnea, causes the sufferer to stop breathing during the night for periods lasting from 30 seconds to 2 minutes. This may happen as much as 400 times per night.

My company is self insured and they don’t cover sleep disorders or even to test for it .
I sleep on average maybe 3 hours straight at a time and get up for an hour something two then try to go back to sleep. 5 hours sleep a night max! I fall asleep at work and can’t drive more then two hours straight. Also, I do fall asleep at the keyboard.

    Sucks bug time !

  14. donviti says:

and always make sure you test the car in reverse too!

  20. liberalgeek says:

Actually, do the sleep study. My brother in law did it. Halfway through the night, they put the CPAP on him halfway through and he had the best night of sleep in 10 years. If nothing else, you can get a good night of sleep out of it.

Also, drop all caffeine and alcohol for a month.

  21. Von Cracker says:

Is this the nutjob who ran for Congress last year?

I just remember that her signage around NCC said (in effect) that she’ll listen to her god before her constituents…..Whudda Loon!
