Cohenology 101: In Praise of My Fellow Cohenologists
I hereby confer the rank of Doctor of Cohenology on Delaware Dem.
Here is a taste…
The envy of the Democrats’ situation (when talking primaries) is clear when compared to that of the Republicans’. And Rovian politics dictates that you do not attack your opponent’s weakness, but rather you attack his strength to hide your own weakness. Remember that when you read all of these news accounts about THE HORROR (otherwise known as Democratic primaries). They are attacking our strength (two or three qualified candidates at every statewide position, each of them more qualified to do the job that they are running for than any Republican currently living in the state).
be sure to read the whole post.
BTW – Dana chips in a great point too.
Bottom Line: Celia’s shtick is so tired it looks like it plays for the Eagles special teams.
Delaware Dem – “They are attacking our strength (two or three qualified candidates at every statewide position, each of them more qualified to do the job that they are running for than any Republican currently living in the state).”
Than any Republican living in the state? This is such a ridiculous statement on all levels.
Did you ever think there are a whole lot of Republicans who do not want to seek office at this time, who are eminently more qualified than your part-time Lt Governor? What has he done the last seven years? I’ll check back on this thread in a couple of months in case you can think of anything.
Just thank your lucky stars Markell stepped up to the plate and will get crossover votes because of his background.
J — You have to understand. Delaware Dem is a Kossack. That means he exists in a virtual echo chamber. He’s not used to actually having to defend his work.
Plus, I’m perfectly happy with the Dems having the opinion that the Dealware GOP is dead. This way, when they look at the scoreboard at the end of the game, they can scratch their heads and say “What HAPPENED?”

Did you realize this before or after you closed comments on your blog?
ZING! #3.
I closed comments on someone else’s post on one occasion, due to the sensitivity of the day.
You have to “register” to use DD’s site. So anonymous cowards like you can’t even post there.
You really want to compare? Please.
Those who censure information, ban books, violate the Constitution always think they have a great reason.
Ask DD what his/hers is.
Dave – the bottom line is that you and I have Iraqi blood on our hands, agreed?
No. Not agreed.
And next year, when you want to slander your state and your country, don’t do it on a blog.
Go to the nearest 9/11 remembrance and do it there.
Yesterday’s post on DelawareLiberal WAS the nearest 9/11 remembrance.
Ah, yes, the “sensitivity of the day.” Free speech, as long as it doesn’t upset the true believers.
Dave, you can register and post at Daily Delaware. If you are civil, and do not spew GOP Talking Points, you are more than welcome.
