Bank of America Puts Nursing Mothers in the closet

Filed in National by on September 12, 2007

My sources are providing me with more juicy news.  It appears that Bank of America is rolling back the clock when it comes to fair treatment of its’ female employees.

MBNA provided nursing mothers an actual nursing room that was in an actual nurse’s office.  Bank of America ended that “perk”.  The room now is an old coat closet with a dead bolt on the inside.  The closet is in a hallway with constant traffic.  It has walls so thin that you can hear a breast pump when walking by.

Conveniently, this years satisfaction survey left off any questions about the facilities as well as a comments section.

Sorry ladies, back of the bus for you, go lactate on your own time!

please send me anymore rollbacks you have experienced at BofA to donviti at yahoo dot com

Its not the crappy facilities we mind so much as the constant spamming and mailers to our babies to sign up for a credit card at attractive rates of %24.9 per annum, compounded, with all sorts of hidden charges and penalties. When we ask, “You think these rates and charges are attractive?”, BofA responds, “We like them a lot.”
