Celia says, “… Insurance Commissioner Matthew P. Denn… has spent his tenure casting himself as David against the Goliath insurance industry.”
I’m used to blog snark, but what the hell is this? Denn came into the office of Insurance Commissioner after that office had been vacant for twenty years. He fought ‘slow-pay/no-pay’ insurance companies, credit scoring, and unsupported workman’s comp rate increases among other things. Basically, he is one guy with a good assistant literally working a 14-hour day against an industry that spends more in lobbying in a year than Denn will see in his lifetime.
And Celia compares Blount’s insurance regulatory experience to what Denn has done? Why? Well, according to Celia, because Blount was sick twice.
I used to think Jason went a little overboard on Celia; not no more, dudes and dudettes.

Dis is right about me being right. Celia is horrible, and Matt Denn does not cast himself as anything other than a guy who works his ass off.
In Celia’s F’ed up world that means he is workign some kind of angle.
Pathetic.
