    Balkanize, meaning to split up like FKA Yugoslavia. Not Vulcanize, meaning to administer a paralyzing nerve pinch to the neck.

    I thought vulcanize was a process for treating natural rubber so that it stays flexible even in the cold.

    Remember those cheap-ass rubber boots we used to have to wear with the metal clips instead of laces? Boy those things sucked. They worked about as well as a President with an IQ of 75.
