Cheap shot…

Senator Pete V. Domenici, one of the most influential voices in Congress on budget and energy issues, announced Thursday that he would retire in 2009 because of a degenerative brain disease.

I always knew something was wrong with these people, but I never knew it was a degenerative issue. Now I do feel sorry for them.
