  1. Delaware Dem says:

Yeah, it would seem that Rev. Bullock made the decision over the weekend after considering how much time and effort a Congressional campaign would consume, and decided he owed his congregation his full attention at this time.

It is a shame. I think he could have really taken it to Castle.

  2. Got a Grip says:

Well, if you’re looking for a candidate that has real principles and will stand by them, no matter what, you’d do well to look at Jerry Northington. There’s no better man on this earth, and he’s in it to win it.

  3. Got a Grip says:

    Here’s a link to Jerry Northington’s website.

Go check it out, read the blog to find out what he stands for and the kind of man he is.

  4. Dana Garrett says:

“Well, if you’re looking for a candidate that has real principles and will stand by them, no matter what….”

I want you to be clear in what you are saying here, mister.

Bullock is a friend of mine PRECISELY BECAUSE he has “real” principles and “stands by them.” Are you saying he doesn’t?

Because if you are representative of Northington’s principles, and if this the kind of cheap smear (if that’s what it is) he makes of those who might oppose him in a democratic race, then I’ll have nothing to do w/ him and I will attack his candidacy w/ every means at my disposal.

So, answer up here, and say precisely what you mean by your words.

  5. Got a Grip says:

Wow, what a leap you made there. There was no attack intended on Reverend Bullock. I believe the issue at hand is that Reverend Bullock has now decided not to run, and that what remains to do is select a candidate that has good principles and will stand by them. I’m suggesting someone who can live up to that standard.

How you got some kind of cheap smear out of that is beyond me. Honestly, I meant no disrespect to Reverend Bullock at all. I admire him for knowing his priorities and standing by them. That is, indeed, a man of principle. I wish him well.

All I’m suggesting is a good candidate, one who is actually running for the office. Nothing more. No need to take something said in all innocence and conflating that into an insult.

And, by the way, it’s Ms. not Mister. Just sayin’….
