I’m trying to find the video. Basically, Brian Ross from ABC news ran a nice hit piece on Freddie. Nixon was recorded as saying he isn’t too bright, then those sentiments were echoed by other people on the line.

Word is getting out about Fred, and Giuliani is picking up the former FredHeads. That makes Giuliani poll better than he really will perform, once people get a good look at him. From dKos yesterday:

I’d just like everyone to remember that I’ve been for Rudy since the beginning. Yes, he’s pandering now, and yes, he’s evidently an a-hole personally, but he’s competent. We need competence badly now. Hillary scares me, Obama is too young, McCain is simply weird, and Edwards is too damn pretty.

I wonder why liberals think there are conservative nutjobs like Rush, Ann, FOX, etc. out in the media. If the MSM is liberal it is to balance out the right wing nutjobs and move everything back to center.
The dumb comment was from Nixon when Thompson was made Watergate Counsel. Nixon called him a ” country rube”.

A chicken and egg argument to be sure, but a solvable one. Rush emerged to OFFSET the liberal bias. One difference, he tells you he is biased. He doesn’t hide behind the phony pretense of being unbiased like the MSM. I wish Fox News would drop the “Fair and balanced” mantra because it makes them as bad as the MSM, though, they probably are the most balanced of the news stations (in their news anyway). I see more liberals talking on there than conservatives half the time. Their shows are decidedly leaning right, but not all of them are. And even Hannity has on movers and shakers from the left all the time.
