For the 5,000th time…I don’t like Republicans
I don’t people who continue to belong to a party that has unleashed unimaginable misery on the Iraqi people based on the whim of their leader. I just don’t.
I don’t like people who think we should use torture and who identify themselves with a party that is antagonistic to our tradition of civil liberties.
I don’t like people who identify with a political party that wants to eliminate social security. I also don’t like people who think global warming is a hoax.
I don’t like Republicans. I don’t get why this is so hard for some to fathom.
Troll Food: I don’t like collaborationists Democrats either, but at least that have the good sense to not be Republicans.

We don’t like you, either. Mainly b/c you’re such an imbecilic cretin who doesn’t know his ass from the knothole in the fence.
If I’m an imbecilic cretin who doesn’t know my ass from the knothole in the fence at least I am an imbecilic cretin who doesn’t know my ass from the knothole in the fence who knew enough to not vote for Bush.
People who voted for Bush should have to pay a “stupid” tax for the next several decades until we dig ourselves out of this mess he’s created. I’m not saying Bush is stupid because I think he planned this all along. It was part of the conservative strategy. But the people who voted for him, especially those who did it twice, are definitely stupid.
Should that “stupid tax” go for those who voted for Minner twice, too?
Maybe it could go to pay for all that overtime.
Burris to English Translation: “but…but…but… I got nothing… I need a distraction…Hey Look over there!!! Governor Minner!!”
Ignore it if you want.
You’ve become a caricature of yourself.
Jason,
For the sake of argument what do you like about the Democratic Party?
I am bit curious.
I will answer….at the very least, the Democratic Party believes in the common good. That we as a society are all in this together and as such we have an obligation to help the least among us. That is why I like the Democratic Party. The Republican Party has the opposite belief. Republicans believe in the phrase “every man for himself.” And when Republicans do try to help a segment of society, it always helps those who have the most already. Greed is the motivating force behind Republicans. Community is the motivating force behind Democrats. That is the basic difference between the parties, and why I back Democrats and will never back Republicans.
What I think, if it even matters, is that for one time in the history of this nation and this state is we need to get over the party divde and save the republic before the our founding liberty is irrevocably lost. And I wish you would trust me and realize that I know what I am talking about. I want you to go out and read Will Durant’s Cesear and Christ on the Fall of the Roman Republic, or about the fall of the German Republic, or about the fall of the Republic of Both Nations and understand that threats to our liberty as Lincoln said and Madison said, and Jefferson said and all the founders said come at times when we perceive or are made to perceive national danger.
“the Democratic Party believes in the common good.”
Does the Delaware Democratic Party believe in the common good?
(I’m going to have to ask for some evidence.)
My response is like Delaware Dems. I timed it to get posted tomorrow morning, but I’ll go ahead and put it up as a companion to his.
Jason,
People who define themselves as being in opposition are doomed to failure and depression.
How’s that going?

PS: global warming is crap and I doubt you have half the brain needed to actually understand the science surrounding the issue, judging by your childish dislike of 50% of the country.
PPS: I think that the notion of torturing a terrorist to prevent mass civilian casualties is O.K…you, on the other sounds, sound like a big whiney baby
As a citizen of looney-town I’m not surprised you hold those views.
“I think that the notion of torturing a terrorist to prevent mass civilian casualties is O.K…”
This sounds like a radical and extremist point of view….and what happens if you are defined as the terrorist one day for diagreeing with someone who does not like you? Will torture still be ok then? I asked my neigbhor a WWII vet about this and he disagrees with you, if he was younger he’d probably be less civil then I am becuase he feels very strongly about this.
Brian,
To you it is “radical” to torture a terrorist even if it will save countless civilian lives?!?! I think you are radically idealistic.
In the entire history of mankind, it is YOU with the radical views! You are the one who is so weak that just a few hundred years ago you would not have survived to even pass on your genetic material. You are the one so softened up and comfortable that you don’t have the sense to recognize humanity’s ills, human nature, or when aggression is warranted.
You ask:
“and what happens if you are defined as the terrorist one day for diagreeing with someone who does not like you? Will torture still be ok then? I asked my neigbhor a WWII vet about this and he disagrees with you, if he was younger he’d probably be less civil then I am becuase he feels very strongly about this.”
To begin with, I doubt that after 1) reading my comment, you then processed to 2) discuss it with your neighbor, and finally 3) get back to this blog and reply in under 12 minutes!
Secondly, I know for damn sure that I will not be tortured because someone disagrees with me. That is not how this country has ever been, or ever will be. There are too many strong, principled Americans with large, loaded guns who will not stand for that kind of injustice. You clearly believe in such a world, and you see the US as that kind of a country. You have this ill-conceived and ignorant notion for a precise reason: as described above, you are a weak, pathetic creature with no real moral compass and no ability to muster u even a modicum of aggression with which to counter-attack even the most vile of enemies.
The fact that I disagree with you, and that you consider ME the radical, is nothing but an illustration of your own detachment from reality.
If you want to talk, do so. Please, stop lying about your conversations with elderly veterans. If you are a regular poster at this site you deserve to be ostracized for your embellishing. It discredits your argument and this entire site.
I know for damn sure that I will not be tortured because someone disagrees with me. That is not how this country has ever been, or ever will be.
Your childlike faith in Bush is touching. Fact is we were not the kind of country to torture ANYBODY until recently.
We led the world through the strength of our moral character not because we had more bombs. It was our optimism, our eagerness to apply brainpower to thorny questions facing humanity that made us strong.
Your comments give me the impression that you know nothing of America.
Robromano must be a huge fan of 24!
Living through Chuck Norris will get you nowhere, slappy.
And Global Warming deniers are, as it pertains to science, the opposite of skeptical. They’ll latch on to anything to support their cause.
Jason says,
“Your childlike faith in Bush is touching.”
Too bad I never mentioned Bush.
Obsess much?
It was our optimism
Clearly you are not optimistic. I saw your Veteran’s Day “tribute” in which you heap scorn on those you disagree with while using a photo of a disfigured Iraq war veteran to further your political, cynical argument…
You are a selfish little turd with no manners. And a hypocrite. You’re so lame that I can’t tell if you are maybe even a righty pretending to be a lefty just to make the left look like a bunch of ignorant assholes. And, as I point out above, your site is infested with liars.
Jason said:

So, as a brief reply to your weak straw man argument I will remind you of the glaringly obvious fact that we are 7/8 done with the Bush years, and none of your paranoid fantasies have come true.
Lastly, I would suggest that you delete this entire entry and all the comments made so far because, frankly, this all makes you look like a fucking asshole.
