I love that this 9/11 fact drives wingnuts completely bonkers

Filed in National by on November 25, 2007

“Nearly two-thirds of Americans believe the federal government had warnings about 9/11 but decided to ignore them,” – Via ThinkProgess

Somehow 62% of Americans have clued into the truth despite the fact that the media treats this simple fact of history as a “conspiracy” on par with the CIA’s assasination of JFK.

I’m sorry, but this is idiocy. Yeah, the government had some warnings that al Qaeda was planning something, but they didn’t know what and they didn’t know when and they didn’t know how.

Think of the precautions that the government has taken since September 11th, and ask yourself one simple question; would the public have tolerated them before September 11th?

Considering the massive amount of fuck-ups committed by Bu$hCo, it would be idiocy to out rightly dismiss it.

    burp.

Forgive me for weighing in, but it is solely the reactions of Cheney/Bush after-the-fact, that give this theory its credulity…..

Why would anyone “dis” the 9/11 widows and NOT support a bipartisan hearing into the events leading up to the event, unless of course, they were guilty of something?
