Nominations Are Now Being Accepted for the “Best Candidate Blog of 2007”
I’ll start.
I nominate mattdenn.blogspot.com. Denn is a very funny natural writer. Although he is no doubt smart enough to “filter” on the fly, you still get the feeling that his blog strikes fear into his campaign staff. (See the current post for example. oh what I could do with that if I had no soul and decided to work for the dark side.)
The only thing I don’t like about Denn’s blog is not being able to comment. Whenever I try I get a message that says, “Comments on this blog are restricted to team members.” And I guess I’m just too lazy to figure out how to become a team member.
I second that nomination! Denn is hilarious.
Test, my comments were blocked below
This to Dana, Ennis is on record for open govt, thanks.
dude?
Love Matt’s sense of humor. I’m with you on the comments part — I’ve tried a couple of time to become a “team member” but never succeeded.
Sorry, as great as Matt is I gotta disqualify anybody who doesn’t proudly display their party affiliation. That leaves – nobody.
Points off to be sure.
I didn’t think of even considering that because the first question I ever asked Matt was my “partisan litmus test question” which was “What would you describe as the “Democratic Approach” to being the (insert office being sought here)?”
The wrong answer is the “Well, I see this as a bipartisan job, so I don’t think there is a “democratic approach” to being Insurance commissioner per se.”
He gave the right answer which was something like, “I think the Democratic approach is to look out for the little guy and that has been an approach that has been missing in the Insurance commisioners office.”
Actually, Markell’s blog has his party affiliation very proudly displayed. So, kudos to him.
