Well, you’ve gone and squandered another perfectly good year (h/t click and clack). In Delaware, we have had our fair share of action, from political self-destruction to energy ground wars. I have to say that I enjoyed the hell out of it, and I hope you did too. Below the cut are the results of our very unscientific polls for the year. Click on more to see them.
But before you do, I’d like to thank all of you for visiting us this year. Delaware Liberal is a great political community because of the cross-pollination, intermarriage and the fine blend of contempt and respect that we have on this blog. I was thinking about the commenters that we don’t see around the blogosphere any more. X-striker, Chris, Steamboat Willy, happycon, Anonymoose, GOP Vision (OK, maybe not him). I think that we have all driven each other to write better, think better and to realize that we do have some common ground in Delaware. Plus, in Delaware, some of the best sources of information are right here on the blogs. I’ve enjoyed most of it (except for Al calling me a f#*ktard).
So without further ado:
The Best Political Scandal of 2007:
John Atkins’ Self Destruction
Best Blog Posting of 2007:

Biggest Delaware Policy Screwup of 2007:

That’s it. 2008 is shaping up to a real humdinger of a political year, and we’ll be here to keep you posted as it happens. We’ll see you then.
