Richardson Packs It In
Bill Richardson is planning to pull out of the Democratic race for President. I had such high hopes for him at the outset, but almost from that point, he started to annoy me with bad answers to good questions. I’m not sure who he appealed to, but probably those people that backed Bill will migrate to Hillary. I think that leaves 5, Obama, Clinton, Edwards, Kucinich and Gravel.

I think Richardson appealed to sensible, mindful, rational people who actually reviewed the candidates experience and qualifications, since he clearly has the most multifarious government skill set of any candidate in either party.
In other words he appealed to about 10 Americans.
Of all the Democratic candidates, he was the best qualified. He is a current Governor, former Secretary of Energy and former UN Ambassador.
He should be getting a much higher reception that he has gotten. I guess experience means nothing to Democrats….
After a speech by Adlai Stevenson someone said something like, “Mr Stevenson you have the vote of 100% of the American itellegensia.”
To which he replied, “This campaign is doomed.”
Not that I liked Richardson. He was a kind of jocular go along to get a long kind of guy. That’s why he had so many jobs.
Huckabee has the least experience in the GOP field and he currently has the most delegates. So I guess the Dems don’t have a monopoly on that position.
Governor Richardson was the democrats only really qualified candidate, so naturally, he went nowhere.

No, it leaves two; the last three don’t really count, and you shoudn’t bother with counting them! 🙂
Jeopardy answer: “He got even less support than Dennis Kucinich.”
The question is: “Who is Mike Gravel?”
Think of it as my Charitable contribution for the week.
Wrong D. Gray, Gov. Huckabee has the most experience in either party running a government and the most experience helping people. He built people for his career not wealth.
