Better late than never…I mean, what damage could have been done by the wrong person being elected anyway?
Md. to abandon touch-screen voting
So what if we elected the wrong person because there may have been Errors, wink wink in the systems of some companies that out right lobbyied for Bush. Hey, just take luxury in the fact that W’s presidency will only be a comma in our nations history.

Gasp! You mean they cheated? !
The New Hampshire recount on the democratic side is on. Grannies raised their money to do the republican recount….but PayPal “froze the account, and the Grannies didn’t have time to get another benefactor. Pay Pal is a heavy contributor to Mitt Romney.
It is a known fact that these Deibold (now called Premier) are not only faulty, but in NH a convicted felon was walking around with memory cards. He claimed to work for the voting machine company and was not questioned as he went in. Now the Memory cards are missing. A $100,000 reward for any information to the corruption in NH is out there.
South Carolina has been known for years for its dirty tricks. Iowa was fixed as well, because they know that people were bused into to caucus from other states and there was no ID requested.
The only way we can assure a fair, free election is to have all machines “locked up, with a police officer outside” to assure no one has access prior to the election. While the election proceeds we will police officers to guard the machine making sure no one who is not authorized is permitted to go behind them..and potentially change the card and change the vote.
America has never really had a fair election, since none of our elections where under guard, were under scrutiny, to assure their wasn’t hanky panky going on.
If you look at your local polling precint…there are many elderly people manning the “election” these good citizens are not only not savvy with computers, but believe “everyone is an honest broker”.
Its the parties that are destroying our free and fair elections. The founders never believed in “parties”.
In Delaware, regardless of what party you belong, we should all be demanding the Board of Election have a “paper ballot” so at the end, we can compare the machne vote to the paper ballots.
Police guarding to polls??? God, that is the last straw!
Between Jimmy Carter w/international election watchers and paper ballots we would be just fine.
IIRC, Charles Potter was riding around from polling place to polling place with a set of well-heeled Nation of Islam body guards during the 2006 primary. The police were called at one point because Potters guards positioned themselves right at the entranceway. The police told Potter’s intimidation team to step off to the legally mandated distance for political operatives.
Potter was the one to call the police, actually. He didn’t like the fact that some union workers had taken up a megaphone against him when he arrived. The police didn’t think there was anything wrong with that but didn’t like Potter’s thuggish manhandlers one bit.
