…and it is not because they are Dems.
This pretty much nails it.
The irony is rich. Copeland has some explaining to do because he pretends not to be corrupt, but McDowell and Adams get a pass because everyone knows they are in Delmarva’s pocket.
Let’s face it Thurman Adams could pretty much pull his pants down and take a crap on the steps of Leg. Hall and his constituents would return him to the State Senate. McDowell is so openly on the take that he doesn’t bother to disguise it.
If it really was Adams and McDowell using the power of the majority and telling Copeland to sign on to kill wind power I frankly wouldn’t be very surprised at this point.
Adams and McDowell have inoculated themselves from charges of corruption by wearing the corruption as a badge of honor. For every red herring argument or lie that is exposed they simply bring out another three red herrings. They make no bones about the fact that they work for Delmarva. How can I go after that? Their dumb-ass constituents need to remedy that situation.
Now Charlie Copeland on the other hand. He needs to fess up. If he really thinks wind power is a good idea and he got strong armed into going along with killing it by the majority leader – as some people are saying – he needs to blow the whistle on Hairless and Gomez and quick.
