    Mine is Wendy. Remember her? The pragmatic figure who, in the end, embraces magic.

    Which is why I’m not only endorsing Obama but have signed on as a volunteer. I’ve always been interested in politics and have talked up candidates I support, but this is the first time I’ve been inspired to walk the talk. Obviously, I am not alone.

    Be cynical if you want — God knows I have, and it’s quite a testimony to Obama that I’ve traded in my sarcastic outlook for one of hope.

    Pandora, that is fantastic! Good on you.

    We can’t afford to be appathetic any more and the main thing I like about Obama is that he’s inspiring people to take part in our democracy. That’s leadership. America’s twenty-first century is going to start nine years late and we’ve got a lot to make up for. It will take all of us working to do it.
