I’m so e’ffing happy…
…that these morons will not be running the Democratic Presidential campaign this year.
Donna Brazille did a horrible job for Al Gore and it was absolte torture seeing John Kerry’s campaign run soooooo badly by Mary Beth Cahill and Bob Shrum.

Hillary is very bright, articulate and component, but that’s not the reason she’s losing.
It’s Obama–he’s in a class of his own…he’s off the scale of the usual politicians, something of a new paradigm in US Politics…and thanks to legion of blunders of George Bush, the time is ripe for someone like him.
Dana is correct….
I would go a little further. But Tyler makes some very good points that Ron Paul supporters will play a large role in determining the nature of the party and race.
Obama is really way off…..so far off that he is unelectable. Clinton is mainstream and just different enough with believable change. She can and will be elected. Mark my words and prepare to eat yours.
Times change. Obama’s strategy is in line with Howard Dean’s, the one that won us control of congress in 2006. Obama uses the same branding strategies of simultaneously expanding our reach to center, motivating the base, and strongly representing progressive values and strategies. It’s the victory plan that works under current conditions. Hillary’s still working off the Terry McAuliffe playbook of failed strategies and concessions. I’m not sure how you can call a candidate that does better against McCain in every state except Florida, Massachusetts, and Texas “unelectable”. Why is Barack Obama electable? Because he’s black? Because he’s progressive? Polls show Obama is not only electable, but that he’d win Virginia, Colorado, Iowa, and Nevada, while holding every single state Kerry won and winning places like Wisconsin, Washington, Minnesota, and New Hampshire by 10 points or more. State by state, Obama is the clear leader against McCain. Obama + time = victory – his numbers are constantly on the rise. A landslide victory is nearly in our grasp if we all keep working for it.
The down ticket races are already being impacted as “R’s” have had a miserable recruiting season and record retirements.
I don’t want to count chickens – (but as X points out, if we all keep working hard) it could be a HUGE Democratic year.
I’ll keep working!
The main issue in November will be Iraq, mainly because it’s the only thing McCain can talk about with any “experience”. Has McCain said one word about healthcare?
There are huge holes in his resume – mortgage forclosures, the economy, healthcare, etc.
These holes are speaking. They also matter to the American people, more so – in some cases – than Iraq.
And they say Obama hasn’t answered the tough questions! And if McCain thinks he can win with only Iraq in his arsenol, he’s nuts.
Myrtle’s been hanging out with Solomon Grundy and Bizarro Superman and the Legion of Doom HQ.
You’d have to be to say OB is unelectable …national polls have said as much.
lol
