  1. Duffy says:

Will he also plead guilty to fraud for putting boy bands together on the guise of it being “music” or “talent”?

  2. Dorian Gray says:

I still can’t believe Milan lost their first European match ever to an English side at the San Siro. My wife is a huge Arsenal fan. Her two favorite players even had both Gunner’s goals Cesc Fabergas and Emanuel Adebayor.

  3. Von Cracker says:

    Milan was horrrrrible!!!

The Arsehats took it to ’em.

  4. G Rex says:

And it’s Arsenal, Arsenal FC! We’re by far the greatest team, the world has ever seen!

  5. Duffy says:

WTF? How does Delaware have so many enlightened sports fans? Hell I’d be posting more about Premier league if I knew!

  6. Dorian Gray says:

    Duffy-
I wish I knew too. I would have had yet another outlet the boast about Tottenham lifting the League Cup!

    CAAHHHMMMOOOONNN YOU SPURS!

    signed – Juande Ramos

  7. G Rex says:

Carling Cup, don’t you mean? Twatenham haven’t won the League Cup (or any other silverware, for that matter) since ’99.

  8. G Rex says:

I had to look that up, BTW, but I remembered the Chelsea fans chanting, “Nine years, it only took nine years!” (to the tune of Blue Moon)

  9. Brian says:

Yo G-Rex- Me too but I always liked Arsenal and Machester. More than that I like Cricket and root for India.

  10. Dorian Gray says:

That’s OK G Rex. Sing whatever you want as Spurs lift the silverware! And nice job nicking Man City’s song Blue Moon. Thieving tosser!

At least I’m not a front running fairy.

  11. G Rex says:

Build a bonfire, build a bonfire,
    Put United on the top,
    Stick Tottenham in the middle,
    And burn the f**king lot!

Brian, how can you like Arsenal and ManUre? That’s like Red Sox and Yankees, man! I still have my Sichuan Quanxing jersey, by the way.

  12. Dorian Gray says:

If I had the wings of a sparrow,

and the dirty great arse of a crow,

I would fly above Old Trafford and shit on the bastards below,

WE HATE MAN U, WE HATE MAN U!!

GirlU, right. I guess you also support the Patriots, the Yankees, and Tiger Woods. Wow it must have been so difficult for you when you selected your favorite team. You only had to look at the top of the table. You’re a real fan!

  13. Von Cracker says:

    He’s a Scouser, he’s a louse; he’ll rob your fucking house….Wayne Rooney!

I’m a Premier League neutral….use to support Chelsea (loved the diminutive one from Sardinia). But after the Oligarch Revolution – I’ve been just an occasional fan of Chelski. And for my hometown namesake, New Castle, it pains me to watch.

I root for mostly the teams with Americans on them….and unfortunately it’s been a bad year to do that….less Tim Howard and Friedel….

  14. G Rex says:

Oh Fabregas is magic, he wears a magic hat,
he turned around to Robinson and said “You’re f**kin fat!”
Robbo says he’s skinny, but we all know it’s lies,
Because we saw him sneaking off to eat up all the pies!

  15. Von Cracker says:

    Beautiful prose!

  16. Dorian Gray says:

I’ll admit that one is funny. But it wasn’t Robbo who blew against Croatia in that Euro 2008 debacle. Plus Robinson’s still better than Calamity James.

And BTW, Von Cracker is a true Toon fan , he’s just embarrassed to admit how deep it runs. HA!

At least I’ve stuck with Spurs since ’86!

  17. G Rex says:

I’ve actually been a Bayern Munich fan since I was a kid, when the only footie on TV was Soccer: Made in Germany on PBS. That was back when Rummenigge and Gerd Muller were playing. Oh, and some guy named Beckenbauer? Whatever. Anyway, I didn’t start supporting Arsenal until World Cup ’98, when I decided Dennis Bergkamp was my new hero.

  18. jason330 says:

Dang. get a room you guys.

  19. Dorian Gray says:

OK. This will be my last word. Just so we part today on good terms.

    1. Bergkamp is a great hero IMO. Awesome player.
    2. I went to Oktoberfest in Munich last September and saw Bayern-Cottbus. Allianz is sick!

  20. Von Cracker says:

There’s no room at the inn, J? 😉

Made in Germany…WOW..now that’s a flashback! I remember Serie A matches on PBS back in the day….RAI recordings of matches that were two weeks old – the footage was so grainy (and funny enough, it still is today) and the commentary was only in Italian….Maradona and Napoli were always on.

  21. Brian says:

    G-Rex -Sichuan Quanxing jersey-

Are you a Chengdu boy……I may be the only white one out there.

  22. Brian says:

gonqui gonqui ni, G-rex Arsenal and Manchetser are like fire and water, I like both….but even more I like Thailand.

  23. Brian says:

    Dennis Bergkamp rocks.

  24. G Rex says:

Brian, I lived in Chongqing for a year – taught English at middle school and a business class at Chong Da. I did get to Chengdu a couple of times, though.

  25. Brian says:

My best frind lives in Xizian about 400 km west of Chengdu. I love that city and the jinjiang river. It is a huge metropolis of the music and entertainment industry, for manufacturing and all kinds of stuff for western China now. I also like Chongqinq very much espically jiangbei on the north….hang on…have to run…we can talk later ok? But I like the story of the Ba people who lived in Chongqing.

  26. Brian says:

I also want to go see the great hall of the people in Chongqing. It is a dream of mine. I never have yet….
