All I know is Tom Ross got a lot of media for his stupid GOP primary tracking poll.
| Friends,During the Republican State Committee meeting last night, I announced my desire to run for Party Chairman if Terry Strine is elected as our new National Committeeman at the convention in May.
In the past few days, since Terry has announced his plans to run for National Committeeman, I have had several conversations with my wife, my friends and supporters in the party, and trusted mentors who have all been supportive of this idea.
So, I’m now writing to you to ask for your support.
I believe that together we can build this party up, we can work with our candidates and our supporters to get our message of hope, growth, and opportunity out to the voters here in Delaware.
I have spent years working with our candidates, raising the necessary funds for strong campaigns and standing shoulder-to-shoulder with our party faithful. I believe we can make a difference.
I’m asking for your support to be our next Republican Party Chairman.

For what it’s worth as far as ‘good’ versus ‘bad’ Republicans, Tom is a good one. We are like-minded about most issues, big and small, if that tells you anything about where he is coming from. I argued like hell with him during the 1st Senate primary race, but we have long since made amends. I consider him a good friend and a good person. I believe this is a very positive development in Delaware politics generally, not just for the GOP.
