This is exactly what he needs to do. Hillary is hurting herself. No need to pile on. Go after McCain. To me this could be the winning strategy in the upcoming primaries, and – God knows – there’s a lot to work with when it comes to McCain’s bloopers!
Also, it seems to be a pretty serious senior moment when all of your foreign policy experience allows you to not even know that the Iranians brokered the deal that got the ceasefire.
Keep attacking McCain’s strength, that’s a great strategy.
Obama has no area of expertise, so attacking a candidate on National Security issues who can run circles around you is utter stupidity.
McCain will cut him up on this issue when the debates start and Obama will look like a deer in headlights.
What’s funny is the lack of understanding that in the general election, the Hannah Montana crowd (all of you Obama does no wrong lovers) makes up only a portion of the vote needed to win the presidency.
Therefore he better study up on what the rest of America is looking for in experience and platforms beyond the word “change.”
And McCain’s current areas of expertise include 1) flipflopping in the service of still trying to win over the neoconmen of the right who still are not feelin’ the program and 2) scary senior moments
demonstrating that when the phone rings at 3AM, he’s still gonna need Joe Lieberman to get him the to the correct narrative.
Plus I think you’ll be surprised at the number of people who really, really, really do not want a third BushCo term. Do.Not.Want.
Jason,
The post above ASSERTS that Obama beats McCain. Even ignoring John’s point about the dating of the poll, if one actually visits that poll and looks at the number for New Jersey, Michigan, or several other key states, the race is actually a toss-up between Obama and McCain.
It’s so far from a slam dunk that it might well be a three-pointer.

bloopers or honesty?
Mark my words, McCain is going to surprise a lot of you all with how effective his candor will be with voters.
Obama should of checked with his military advisors

It’ll be effective candor, all right.

Nice try.

Your words are hereby marked. Here are some other words on the topic.

McCain can’t stay on the same side of an issue for two weeks.
That is not candor as it is not knowing much and opening his mouth anyway.
Also…
I guess you missed the post RIGHT ABOVE THIS ONE with the polls showing that Obama beats Senator McBush.

Jason, I commented on it earlier.
The info you posted is dated at this point, the newer numbers show a much closer race.
