New Castle, DE – The Progressive Democrats for Delaware (PDD) have
announced their endorsement of Jack Markell for Governor and Matt Denn
for Lt. Governor in the upcoming Delaware primary elections. June
Eisley, Chair of the PDD Endorsement Committee said, “The decision was
difficult, but our members are very proud of the chosen candidates and
we’re looking forward to supporting them during the campaign season.
The PDD supports its endorsed candidates with money and volunteer
time, and our members are very engaged in the Delaware political
process at the grassroots level.”

The Progressive Democrats for Delaware is a statewide grassroots,
volunteer organization that is member of the Democracy for America
coalition and a club within the Delaware Democratic Party. Founded in
the spring of 2004, the organization has grown in numbers and
financial strength and values concrete action from its members, not
talk.

recently presented their Legislator Recognition Award to Senator Karen
Peterson (D – Stanton) and Representative John Kowalko ( D -Newark
South) for their work in the 144th Session of the General Assembly.

open government and Representative Kowalko for his work to bring
