My Redneck Barometer Checks In

My redneck barometer called me today.

“Hey man, Obama is kicking ass.” he said.

“Really?” I replied a bit guardedly. You never know where he is going with something.

“Oh yeah, that new ad rocks. It is about time someone is talking about keeping jobs in this country and taxing the hell out of companies that want to move everything to China.”

“Yeah. It is about time.” I agreed. “What about McCain?”

He seemed a bit annoyed with McCain when he said, “Is he running for something? I mean Jesus! He wins the nomination and then goes into hiding. He’s acting like he already won the damn election.”

“Yeah. Pretty quiet.” I decided to leave it at that. Obama wants to keep American jobs in the US and McCain sucks. That is good enough for me.
