I’m not giving investment advice, but if you buy Obama at $0.50 and he is the next President of the United States the contract pays $1.00 – you can’t make 100% in the stock market these days.
If you want to hedge you can buy Obama at $0.50 and Clinton at $0.09 and if a Democrat wins in November you’ll get an 80% return and if you know of any other investment with that risk/return profile I’d like to know about it.

You could buy McCain now at $0.40 and sell the day after the Republican convention for around $0.50, and that should be a pretty safe 8 – 10%.
