Seriously…Call Your State Senator To Support Wind Power!
Your calls yesterday worked!
They helped get The Delaware House of Representatives to vote in favor of offshore wind power by passing House Concurrent Resolution 38 by a vote of 25 to 11!!
Now it is onto the Senate where a small number of Senators are determined to block the will of the people who are overwhelmingly in favor of this clean, renewable, dependable off shore wind project.
That’s why it is important that you call your State Senator today to register your support for wind power.
If your Senator is a Democrat leave a message here: (302) 744-4286
If your Senator is a Republican leave a message here: (302) 744-4048
If you are not sure, click here for a map and complete contact information:
You’ll probably get voice mail, so politely leave a message saying that you don’t want a small group of State Senators to kill the Blue Water Wind Power Deal. You might add that the deal…
*has been approved by the a large margin in the house, and
*will bring high paying jobs to the state.
Email this post to three friends and let’s set a goal of getting 100 phone calls today.
Every call counts – 100 calls from voters can have a huge impact!
Update for our loyal readers: stealing an Idea from DWA. I posted a blog asking people to call their state senators over at Delawareonline it should be up on the front page. Please click the recommened button on the post to keep it on the front page of Delawareonline.com Thanks people! we can do this as a group!
Called, and family is calling.
I just called and left a message for Bruce Ennis.
Can I be excused from calling since my State Senator is Karen Peterson? 🙂
Why not call President of the Senate John Carney as well?
Carney tells everybody all the time that he has the experience to get things done in the legislature.
Why doesn’t he use this experience to actually get this voted on?
The Senators who are holding this up are all on the leadership of his campaign committee.
post the link to your WNJ so we don’t have to go MAD searching for it over there, please.
I called my senator, but his phone rang incessantly without an answer or a voicemail. This was at 4:30 this afternoon.
My senator’s name: Harris B. McDouchebag
Did you call his Wilmington, Dover or Middletown number?
I called my former opponent Diana McWilliams asking for a Yes vote. Karen Hartley-Nagle called McWilliams too.
I called his Dover number, as I usually do. Most times, I at least get one of his flunkies.
