His trousers are wrecked. Begging Bill Lee to run for Governor is taking a toll.

I’ve waited 8 years for one good on-point zinger from RAM. And there it is.

Tom Noyes is a blogger god. He’s my American idol.

You should ask him who the real author of the Vallihura resolution was. Here’s a hint: it wasn’t God’s gift to state government Dave Burris.

John Kowalko leaked it here as well as a few more insights.

And there’s the truth for you about what really happens when the GOP has power in one branch of govt in DE.

If a Dem wants to get good legislation passed in the state house, he/she must resort to one of two methods:

    1) Let a Repub steal it outright w/o protest like Hudson stole Kowalko’s anti-revolving door bill.

    2) Either write it up and give it to the Rep Leg and let the petty little egomanic take all the credit for it.

But notice: precisely because it was a good bill, because it was in the public interest, a Repub promoting a Dem initiative under his own name doesn’t rouse the GOP to great action. They voted in favor of the resolution by a majority as thin as the skin of their teeth. Their side went for it by one vote. Just one lousy vote.

We all know this is true: if a Dem had been the chief Legislator, the Repubs would have voted overwhelmingly against it. It’s only because Kowalko & Schwartzkopf thought of the people’s interest and appealed to the egotism of a Repub that the bill passed w/ every Dem voting for it except one Leg.

I used to think it was a great shame if the Dems in DE controlled the Gov’s office & both sides of the Legislature. I still think that in a better world their would be more of a balance of power. But given the behavior of the GOP House, I can’t wait for next January when the Dems get the majority. You won’t see this bullcrap about Repubs being afraid to sponsor good legislation and having to hand it over to an ego-maniacal Dem to sponsor to get it voted on.

It won’t be perfect and I’m sure there will be some game-playing, but you’ll see a decidedly more adult approach to legislating, and you won’t see the legislative process largely co-opted and transmuted into an ill process of personal aggrandizement.

We have been waiting for leadership and results not zingers. There is plenty of pride in the Republican Party and after 16 years of Democratic Governors it will be clear it is time for a change.

You mean which Dem alone voted against the union supported wind mill project?

Oh, that would be Rep. Walls–you know that Dem who lives constantly quaking & shaking for fear of primary opponents–that is, if we are to believe Dave Burris.

Another example of you threadjacking to talk about me. You have a problem. A big problem.

Do I need to worry about my family’s safety?

“Another example of you threadjacking to talk about me.”

It’s a true connection, Dave Burris. Walls voted against the BWW, an unlikely result given how you told a story about him making a vote based on some fear of the unions. Don’t blame me because your story turned out to be a hoax, Dave Burris.

Besides, when people Google the name “Dave Burris” it’s important for them to see how you make claims about people that have no basis in fact.

“Do I need to worry about my family’s safety?”

Please drop this incessant insinuation that I am some kind of threat to you and your family. It’s just another one of your dirty tricks and smear tactics.
