Question of the Day

Filed in National by on April 13, 2008

If Jimmy Carter or Bill Clinton had authorized American service men torture prisoners of war to death, and declared that the 4th Amendment to the constitution preventing unwarranted searched and seizures was no longer valid, do you think they would have been impeached?

Bonus Question: Is the Bush/Castle air war over Iraq intended to reduce the number of people who hate America or increase that number?

  1. Conservatives keep claiming there’s no valid reason to impeach George Bush and that the liberals need to stop their yammering. Now we have definitive proof the administration suspended one of the most important Amendments in the Bill of Rights and the bitches are silent.

    Typical.

  2. Steve Newton says:

    Mike,
The only bone I would pick with your statement is that I think all of the amendments in the Bill of Rights are equally important. An attack on one is an attack on all of them.

    Steve. Amen.

  4. Al Mascitti says:

If only we could get the 4th Amendment back…alas, we let that one die over the bogus “war on drugs” when we decided to allow police to act as highwaymen.
