If you are DisneyCo do you want the woman you bought or the guy who isn’t for sale in the White House? Remember, these are the same people who ran that awful docudrama about events leading up to 9/11 that put the blame on Clinton, not Bush. I refuse to watch ABC.
Parents: Walk by the Disney store in the mall. It’s all crap.
There is a whole world of children’s literature that existed before and after Disney, and it’s better too. Find out about it and give it to your children.
Maybe it’s time to stop telling your children that every figure in history and literature was in love with a princess and had a talking animal sidekick.
The Hunchback dies in the end. The girl too.
And a rich prince isn’t going to marry you. You have to go to college and get a job.
Last night I was in shock. Today I’m furious. ABC had the chance to make what should have been the most important debate of the primary issue oriented, instead they went into the gutter. ABC should be ashamed of themselves.
The only good thing… today all the negative attacks are being directed at the moderators.

…with more wingnut-frame questions, including ones on gun control and even about affirmative action and Obama’s well-off daughter.
Of course McCain won. Hell, he could have written the questions? Taxes, guns, religion, patriotism, affirmative action, black radicals, small town family values… am I missing any?
Oh yeah, they didn’t touch on abortion.
On a brighter note… I think the “Obama isn’t vetted” talking point has died tonight.
Charlie Gibson and George Stephanopoulos, turned in shoddy, despicable performances.
For the first 52 minutes of the two-hour, commercial-crammed show, Gibson and Stephanopoulos dwelled entirely on specious and gossipy trivia that already has been hashed and rehashed,
Greg Mitchell: The Debate: A Shameful Night for the U.S. Media
In perhaps the most embarrassing performance by the media in a major presidential debate in years, ABC News hosts Charles Gibson and George Stephanopolous focused mainly on trivial issues as Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama faced off in Philadelphia. They, and their network, should hang their collective heads in shame.
I can’t wait for Gibson and Stephanopoulos to try and defend themselves.
What did you expect? On the issues, there isn’t a dime’s worth of difference between the two. What differences do exist are so small that you can’t rationally choose between tyhem, because, whichever one — hopefully neither — is elected in November, the Congress will change their proposals to a far greater degree than the existing differences.
The real consideration is: which candidate do you trust more, both personally and in ability to handle the issues which we cannot foresee. And that’s why personality is actually more important than sterile discussions of minor policy differences.
It looked to me like the influential people in the Democrat Party had a ‘come to Jesus’ talk with both, and said that they have to focus on the enemy, which is the GOP, not each other.
ABC/Disney and the rest of the bought out, corporate media spend their days dreaming up questions for the candidates that are created not to discuss issues relevant to the citizens. The media that sold us the Iraq war and their punditeers are at it again. They will not stop until Bushlite is installed in the White House so we can , “bomb, bomb, bomb Iran”. Put that sleazoid Leiberman in the mix of right wing lunatics. Jimmy Carters trip to the Gaza and West Bank to talk to Hamas has been poisoned by the zionist media…and the Israelie government refused him entrance. Now tell me why they would do that, unless they were fearful Prez. Carter would tell the truth about the horrific treatment and other horrors being inflicted on the Palestinans. Mr. Netanyahoooo made a statement (Haartz ) that “911 was good for Israel”. Talking corporate pundits are determing our next president, look how many candidates they have already delivered DOA!
The fact that you still trust George Bush and would vote for him again means that you are a crackpot and I can dismiss everything and anything you say as the ravings of a lunatic.
Flag pins. Rev. Wright. Some radical from the ’60’s. For ABC News, the term ‘news judgment’ is an oxymoron, emphasis on the ‘moron’.

So, thus far, questions on:
loser: abc and george stopalotofus
winner: McCain
Of course McCain won. Hell, he could have written the questions? Taxes, guns, religion, patriotism, affirmative action, black radicals, small town family values… am I missing any?

Could someone tell me why Stephanopoulos – a former Clinton employee – was allowed to moderate the debate?

So says a person who still trusts George Bush and would vote for him again.
Thanks for your comment Dana – now I think I hear your mommy calling you to breakfast.

Are the Obama supporters starting to sound like Ron Paul supporters?

Why, thank you, Jason! Now, perhaps you could tell me just where you disagree with what I wrote.
The fact that you still trust George Bush and would vote for him again means that you are a crackpot and I can dismiss everything and anything you say as the ravings of a lunatic.
Sorry, but it is the truth.
Amen Jason!
